Dr. Stephanie Chu
Dr. Stephanie Chu holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic College (CMCC). As a certified Medical Acupuncture provider and Titleist Performance Institute specialist, she embraces evidence-based chiropractic by applying the latest scientific research in her practice.
Collaborating with elite golf leagues such as the Toronto Players Tour and PGA Mackenzie Tour, as well as the Canadian Olympic Swim Team, her experience as a former high-level athlete with over six golf scholarships, uniquely positions her to address athletes’ needs. Specializing in sport injuries, notably in Golf Performance Therapy, she is committed to enhancing athletic performance and rehabilitating sports-related injuries.
Fluent in English and Cantonese, Dr. Stephanie connects with diverse range of individuals, spanning different age groups, athletes across various sports, and special populations, like those with cerebral palsy or multiple sclerosis. Her individualized treatment plans prioritize core principles of patient education, manual therapy and exercise. Passionate about overall health and wellness, she not only addresses the area of concern, but also considers other contributing factors like mental well-being, stress, sleep, ergonomics and nutrition. She has special interests in treating injuries of the neck, upper and low back, hips, shoulder, elbows and wrists. Beyond her practice, Dr. Stephanie enjoys teaching golf, hiking with her dog, pursuing hobbies like cooking, Muay Thai and rock climbing.
